  • Your Body Deserves Real Results

Wood therapy — also called maderotherapy — is a natural, non-invasive body contouring treatment that breaks down stubborn fat, reduces cellulite, and activates your lymphatic system. No machines. No needles. No downtime.

— THE TRUTH ABOUT WOOD THERAPY —

Most spas sell you the treatment.

We teach you science

Wood therapy (maderotherapy) is a century-old body sculpting technique originally developed in Colombia. It uses specially shaped wooden tools to apply targeted pressure and rhythmic movement across the body's problem areas.

Unlike machine-based treatments, wood therapy works with your body's natural systems — specifically your lymphatic system, your fascia, and your circulatory pathways. When done correctly by a trained specialist, the results are visible, measurable, and lasting.

At Fine China Body, our founder Ciera Cook brings a Public Health education and certified body sculpting expertise to every session. You'll understand exactly what's happening in your body — and why it works.

1. Lymphatic Activation

The wooden tools follow the body's lymphatic pathways, pushing stagnant fluid toward your lymph nodes. Your lymphatic system has no pump — it needs movement to work. This is why you feel lighter after just one session.

2. Fascia Release

Cellulite forms when fat cells push against tight fibrous bands under your skin. The rhythmic pressure of the tools stretches those bands and breaks up localized fat, smoothing the surface from the inside out.

3. Circulation Boost

Friction from the wooden tools brings oxygenated blood to the surface. More oxygen means faster cell renewal, improved skin tone, and firmer texture over time — especially post-pregnancy or post-weight loss.

4. Metabolism Support

Stimulating the lymphatic system and increasing circulation activates your body's natural fat-burning process. Wood therapy alone won't replace exercise, but it amplifies results from everything else you're already doing.

— THE TOOLS —

SIX TOOLS, ONE SCULPTED OUTCOME.

Each wooden implement is designed for a specific body area and function. Your specialist chooses the right combination based on your goals — whether that's waist definition, cellulite reduction, or post-op recovery. No two sessions are identical.

Flat Board

Used across large surface areas like the abdomen and back. Creates smooth, even pressure that redistributes fat cells and firms loose skin.

Roller Pin

The primary tool for breaking down cellulite and fat deposits. Works the thighs, hips, and buttocks to smooth and contour through repetitive rolling motion.

Cup Suction Tool

Creates a vacuum effect that lifts the tissue, separating fat from the fascia layer below. Particularly effective for the glutes and stubborn pockets on the outer thighs.

Cylinder Roller

Applied along the lymphatic pathways on the arms, inner thighs, and calves. Encourages drainage and reduces fluid retention in extremities.

Ridged Maderotherapy Board

Features contoured ridges that penetrate deeper tissue layers, ideal for breaking down fibrous cellulite that standard massage cannot reach.

Mashroom Tool

Used on smaller, more delicate areas — the inner arms, back of the knees, and flanks. Precise and targeted for detailed sculpting work.

— WHY IT WORKS —

8 BENEFITS

One Natural Treatment

Lymphatic Drainage & Detox

Stagnant lymph fluid causes bloating, puffiness, and a heavy feeling throughout the body. The rolling motion pushes this fluid toward your lymph nodes where it gets processed and eliminated. Most clients report feeling noticeably lighter after their first session.

Cellulite Reduction

The wooden tools apply deep pressure that stretches the fibrous connective tissue holding cellulite in place. Over 6–10 sessions, the dimpled texture visibly smooths — especially on the thighs, glutes, and abdomen.

Waist & Body Contouring

Consistent pressure and repetitive sculpting movements redistribute fat deposits and define the body's natural contours. Many clients see measurable inch loss from the waistline, hips, and thighs within their first treatment series.

Post-Surgical Recovery Support

Wood therapy is one of the most recommended natural post-op treatments. It breaks down fibrosis (hardness after lipo), softens scar tissue, and accelerates the lymphatic drainage that surgical swelling depends on. Fine China specializes in pairing this with full post-op care plans.

Improved Blood Circulation

The friction created by the wooden tools draws oxygenated blood to the surface of the skin. Better circulation means faster cell turnover, improved skin tone, and a natural glow that starts from the session itself.

Skin Firming & Tightening

Increased circulation from the treatment stimulates collagen production over time. Clients who have experienced skin looseness from weight loss or pregnancy see a measurable improvement in skin elasticity across multiple sessions.

Muscle Tension Relief

The deep-tissue pressure of wood therapy also releases muscle tension, breaks up fascia restrictions, and can reduce soreness from exercise. Many clients book sessions after intense training weeks as part of their recovery protocol.

Metabolism Activation

By stimulating the lymphatic system and boosting circulation, wood therapy activates the body's natural fat-processing mechanisms. It works as a complement to nutrition and movement — not a replacement, but a powerful amplifier.
